A Tour with a theme
In 1992 we visited Russia for the first time. Our impressions and feelings were mindblowing. Athough the iron curtain had already been opened, the past was (and still is) very much visible. The people stole our hearts and the choice to cross Siberia and Russia from East to West during our World Tour was easy to make. During this tour we visited Volgograd (the former Stalingrad). It's war history, but also the present situation in the world made it a most impressive experience.

"There I too want to go, we kept on hearing around us after we finished our world tour. The tour we organised in 2004 was quickly booked up. That's why we went again in 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007...

Route impression

For the experienced motorcyclist only
The total route length is about 9000 kilometres, which we will cover in 22 days. This tour is thus only suitable for experienced motorcyclists who can spend long hours in the saddle and are not afraid of a little bit different road surfaces. Distances of 500+ km per day are common.

End of the Second World War
On May 9th the Russians celebrate the end of WWII. This special day we will be in the former Stalingrad. With parades and laying flowers. We will dwell on the terror of this time and commemorate all victims of this and other wars.

Mini world tour
The round trip on its own is pretty good to give you the real travellers feeling. This is intensified by the amount of kilometres we will travel and the countries we will visit, like Germany, Poland, Ukraine, Russia, Romania, Hungary, Slowakia and the Czeck Republic.
