In Romania and Bulgaria you will get the feeling that times has stood still. You will be riding through different parts of history. R

Trans Sylvania
This journey will bring you to the far north of Romania, through the beautiful Carphates towards the Maramures region and the small town of Sighet. Then we will head south towards the region called Trans Sylvania. This is Count Draculas erea with Sighisoara, Brasov and the beautiful Sibiu, a town that is easily compared to Siena in Italy. We will spend one day here.

We will enter Bulgaria coming over spectacular, 2000+ metre high mountainpasses.

 

  

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 
Route impression

Bulgaria
Here we will ride through the Donau Delta and along small, sometimes unpaved roads through splendid valleys and over the passes of the Stara Planina and Sreda Gora mountains. We'll pass through areas with old castles and monasteries.

Carpathians
From Bulgaria we'll ride once more through the Carpathians towards Oradea, which is again a lovely town with pittoresk squares, narrow alleys full of very nice views. And... we have found a nice restaurant here.

Budapest - Hongary
Because the car-train to Vienna does not transport any motorcycles anymore, we have prolongued this tour to 18 days. We'll visit Budapest on the way down to Romania and spend a day in this wonderfull city.

Hotels and pensions
We will spend the night in different hotels etc. that are very reasonable.

 

For the adventurous traveller
This tour suits all those seeking adventure, The ones who like to go off the beaten track and looks forward to do some dirt tracks now and then, without making it into a offroad race.
