Historic routes
In 1907 a small group of rally riders caused a lot of commotion when starting on a Paris-Peking race. However, the rally, in which one French, one Dutch and 3 Italian cars participated, turned out to be more like a exhausting experience than a race.
But an experience it was and 80 years later the plans gained interrest again.

Destination Unknown
China is still that big strange coutry full of magic, fine arts and old rich civilizations. We however also know China of it's cheap products, noodles and nasi goreng and we know that there are many, many Chinese.

This 'Destination Unknown' thing (yes we can read books, but that is not the same) is what feeds our curiosity and makes it thé place to go to.
We have been at the border already a couple of times. In 2009 we are going to cross it.

Tour formula
The tour will be organised and guided by Ride-on motorTours in their typical way, with routes and goals well described in a roadbook. Because of this all will keep their freedom to travel the way it feels good, so that everyone can make this into his/her own super tour. We will not be obliged to operate as one group for 24 hours a day (will only do that when that feels good) and it will be more likely that we will all survive the 50 days of travelling together.

  

The price and what's included:
The price for this tour is: € 11.950,-*

Included are:
All Accommodations incl. breakfast
Parkingfees at the hotels
Motorcycle transport Peking > Rotterdam
Flight Peking > Amsterdam
Airport transfer
All visa and visa-invitations
Motorcycle guide and backup van (min. 10 participants)
Roadbook and maps
Entry fee to visit the Forbiden city and the Chinese Wall

*) Based on a motorcycle (size and weight) like a TDM900. For bigger/heavier bikes a surcharge is applicable. The price may also change due to other circumstances like rising fuel cost etc.

Motorcycle insurances
Carnet de Passage
Travel and health insurance
Cancellation insurance (compulsary)
Petrol
Dinners (some exceptions)
Airport tax
Personal expenses
Possible fuel surcharge
