A real World Tour Yes, we are almost ready. To GO! Some think it's a world tour to go to Italy, Greece or the Northcape, others need this distance to just get going and find it hard resisting the attraction of the horizon. For motorcycle travellers like these we started the Motorcycle Caravan. We will go from Holland through Germany and Poland, the Ukraine, Russia, Kazachstan, Kirgistan and Siberia to Japan. We will travel a total of over 17.000 kilometres, of which we will go about 2000 per train en boat. We have (only) 60 days. |

 Hip, hip, hurrah! This year it is 50 years since Yamaha started building motor cycles. Of course we cannot let this pass unnoticed. The Motor Cycle Caravan will visit Yamaha in Japan and bring over personal congratulations.

Silk Routes We will follow parts of different Silk routes. Some are very old, from the times of Marco Polo and his uncle Matteo. Others have not to do with Silk, but with Salt. The youngest "Silk route" we find in East Siberia, where we come accross a lively trade of used Japanese cars. |

This is obviously not a tour for every one. We are a good group of 14 persons. Every-one has been very much involved in the preparations and we are all experienced travellers. |
