Spectacular tracks and (dry) riverbeds
Morocco is a popular motorcycling destination and that's not strange: The early spring and late fall time are ideal and even more important: The (asphalt) roads are great and mostly in good to very good condition. The Moroccan Atlas Mountains hide some beautiful passes and canyons. So make sure you've got enough grip in the corners.

But also for the adventurous motorcyclist this is heaven. The choice of dirttracks is great and diverse, clinging on to the mountains, crossing over passes and taking you through through canyons or even riverbeds, dry or not. In quality they vary from good easy to ride dirt roads to 4x4 tracks that make every experienced allroad (offroad) rider grin.
At Merzouga we reach the edge of the Erg Chebbi dessert with the highest dunes of Morocco. The track is mostly solid but expect some lose sand too. We'll reach our bivouac here on camelback.

King's Cities
Morocco is the land of King's Cities. We'll visit Meknes, Marrakech and Fez with their colourful fortified medina's (ancient citycenters). You can wander around for hours in the most picturesque little alleys of the souqs, watching craftsmen like coppersmiths, tanners, weavers etc. at work. The aroma of spices and exotic products make your visit into a journey through a fairy tale.

Passes and canyons
The Atlas Mountains hide spectacular passes and canyons. Some passes, like the Tizi-n-Tickka and the Tizi-n-Tinififft passes are surfaced roads and also the Gorge du Dadès, the Gorge du Todra and the Gorge du Ziz (canyons) can be visited with any type of motorcycle. The Tizi-n-Tazazert (4x4) and the Cirque de Jaffar are unpaved, as is the connecting (4x4) track between the Gorge du Dadès and the Gorge du Todra, which partly runs through a riverbed. Also the track from the Gorge du Dadès to Bou Thrarar is 4x4. It's a great adventure to ride these.

Tracks on GPS
All above mentioned tracks (exept for the Cirque du Jaffar) have been logged on GPS and will be available for navigation on the road.
