One with your bike, one with nature
Iceland is the ultimate Paradise for every allroad rider, as well for the ones on smaller as the ones on heavier allroad machines. The well maintained paved roads take you through endless nature and the unpaved (but very ridable) tracks are even better. The views are superb; passing by waterfalls, glaciers, geisers, fjords and rocky coastlines.
Iceland
It's a volcanic island. The landscape looks like tundra and often offersspectacular views. Being 103.000 km2, it is a bit smaller than the UK and with only 319.000 inhabitants of which 200.000 live in and around Reykjavik there is enough space left for us to explore. Iceland has a lot to discover: Europe's second bggest glacier, the Vatnajökull measures 8100 km2 and also Europe's biggest waterfall (regarding water volume) is on Iceland. We are going to see it all.

The weather
Iceland has a short summer season, starting at the end of May till halfway August. June and July are thus the best months to visit, not only regarding the temperatures but also because it is more likely during this period for the dirt roads to be open and accessable.
Because of it's nothernly position the days are long and the nights very short on Iceland.

14 days quality time
Islands are usualy a bit hard to reach; the journey over land and sea with ferries to come-and-go will take you 10 days. Alernatively you can rent a motorcycle, but a rental bike never can fully replace your own. That's why we ship the motorcycles out in a container and go by plane ourselves.

For the adventurous motocyclist
Iceland has everything the (heavier) allroad rider wants and this tour is specially designed for motorcycles like Yamaha 660 and Super Tenere, Varadero, V-Strom, BMW GS etc. However, you can very well also join us on your street- or tour bike and even passengers will enjoy the ride. We can also rent a motorcycle for you.
Everyone is free to adjust the route to his/her own wishes. You can decide to stay on the pavement and well prepared tracks or choose to ride as much as possible dirttracks and 4x4-tracks.
With the roadbook and roadmap we provide you are totally free to get going the way you want.
