How to book
1.1 Fill in the booking form and send
it in an envelop to: Ride-on MotorTours, Asterstraat 12, 7255 XW Hengelo Gld,
the Netherlands.
An invoice will be sent to you as
soon as possible.
Payment
2.1 Payment has to be done
according the information on the invoice, stating how much the tourprice is and
when payment has to be done. We require a deposit which can vary from 10 till
40%. For our tours to Russia and the Motorcycle Caravan set amounts apply. The
terms of payment will be discussed during a meeting about these tours.
2.2 The full tourprice
should be paid (unless differently stated) at least one month prior to the
start of the tour. Payment should be done by transferring the money into the
account of Ride-on MotorTours, Asterstraat 12, 7255XW Hengelo Gld, the
Netherlands. IBAN no: NL 06 PSTB 0009600302; BIC: PSTBNL21; Postbank Amsterdam.
Cash payments are possible.
Group Tour
3.1 Participants are not
obliged to stay within the group during the tour. Participants are expected to
ride at their own speed and keep control over their motorcycle at all times.
3.2 Participants always ride at their
own risk.
3.3 Participants are always
free to choose whether or not to participate in group events etc. However, we
expect the participants to make use of the bookings which have been made for
them.
3.4 Unless special arrangements have
been made at forhand, participants are expected to share hotelrooms (2 persons
per room). It is not possible to change the arrangements while on tour.
3.5 When one (more) participant(s)
decide to change the arrangement, any extra cost involved will be paid by the
participant. No restitution of payment will be possible.
4.1 These terms also apply on any
individual tours or arrangements
5.1 Ride-on MotorTours reserves the
right to change the tour itinerary as soon as it is decided that force majeure
or a different situation makes this necessary for the tour to proceed and end
in a good way. Ride-on MotorTours and their guides cannot be held responsible
for missing out on any tour highlights etc. as a result of these changes.
5.2 Ride-on MotorTours and their
guides reserve the right to exclude participants from the tour, when it is
decided to be necessary for the proper proceeding of the tour and/or when a
serious situation makes this necessary. Ride-on MotorTours and their guides are
not liable for restitution of any payments because of this.
6.1 Participants are expected to be
able to finish the tour mentally as well as fisically in good condition. They
are responsible for keeping Ride-on MotorTours and their guides informed about
anything concerning this before and during the tour.
7.1 In case participation on
a tour is obstructed, the tour needs to be cancelled in writing and by
registered mail. The date on the postal stamp is regarded to be the date of
cancellation. For the cancellation of a tour a cancellation fee will be
charged;
7.2 The cancellation fees
for the tours to Russia and the Motorcycle Caravan are:
When
cancelling until 90 days prior to the day of departure 25% of the tourprice;
When
cancelling from the 90st day (inclusive) until the 61st day prior to departure
40% of the tourprice;
When
cancelling from the 61st day (inclusive) until the 31st day prior to departure
60% of the tourprice;
When
cancelling from the 31st day (inclusive) until the 14th day prior to departure
80% of the tourprice;
When cancelling from the 14th day
prior to departure until the day of departure or later 100% of the tourprice
7.3 The cancellation fees for any
other of our tours are:
When cancelling the tour until 56
days prior to the day of departure €50,- administration fees with a maximum of
25% of the tourprice;
When
cancelling from the 56th day (inclusive) until the 28th day prior to departure
25% of the tourprice;
When
cancelling from the 28th day (inclusive) until the 14th day prior to departure
50% of the tourprice;
When
cancelling from the 14th day (inclusive) until the day of departure 75% of the
tourprice;
When
cancelling on or after the day of departure 100% of the tourprice;
7.4 When participants have booked a
tour including accommodation as a group, the cancellation of one of the
participants will be delt with as a cancellation of all participants within the
group. This means that in this case all participants are charged with the above
mentioned cancellation fees. When the remaining participant(s) agree on a new
arrangement including the same accommodation, the cancellation fees payd by the
remaining participant(s) will be deducted from the new (higher) tourprice(s).
The total of the new tourprice(s) will however never exceed the total of the
initial tourprices.
7.5 Participants themselves are
liable to arrange a cancellation insurance and settle any claims.
8.1 In case of (road)accidents,
injuries, damaged and/or stolen motorcycles and/or personal belongings, Ride-on
MotorTours and their guides will do all that is possible to assist in dealing with
the situation.
8.2 However, Ride-on MotorTours and
their guides cannot be held responsible for the damage, neither for any costs
that have to be made as a result, nor for any missed days on the tour.
Participants should also be aware of the fact that for the other participants,
the tour should proceed without the least of hinder as possible.
8.3 Participants are liable
themselves to have arranged a good travelinsurance which covers the recovery of
(damaged) motorcycles as well. Ride-on MotorTours does not have the means
(unless stated otherwise) to recover any motorcycles.
8.4 Participants are expected to ride
motorcycles which are well maintained and functioning properly. The tyres
should be new or have a profile of at least 4mm at the start of the tour.
Luggage
9.1
Unless otherwise stated, the tourguide(s) will ride a motorcycle as well. This
means that Ride-on MotorTours does not have the means to carry any of the
participants luggage. The participants themselves are liable to carry their
luggage on their own motorcycles in a responsible manner.
Applicable Laws
13.1 On all
contracts between participant and Ride-on MotorTours the Dutch Laws are
applicable.
13.2 The
court of Zutphen entitled to hear any dispute, as long as the judge is
authorized. Nevertheless, Ride-on MotorTours has the right to put any dispute
before a lawfull authorized court.
