Short route description
1. Day - app. 650 km to Schwedt (DE)
We will ride mostly over the German Highway direction East, till close to the Polisch border.

2. Day - app. 370 km to Malbork(PL)
Beautifull ride through the Polish Lake district to a medieval town with castle
3. Day - app. 340 km to Suwalki (PL)
Today we'll ride through the Mazurian Lake district of Poland. We will pass by Ketrzyn, very close to the Wolffschanze, which was Hitlers headquarters during WWII.
4. Day - app. 300 km to Vilnius (LT)
It is possible to stop at the Prutas Parkas, a themepark where a big collection of statues (saved from destruction) of significant persons of the soviet era are displayed (among which a few od Josef Stalin).
5. Day - Time to visit Vilnius (LT)
6. Day - app. 350 km to Riga (LV)
We will pas the famous Hill of Crosses, which is also called 'The sadness of Europe'. The centre of Riga is very beautiful.
7. Day - Time to visit Riga (LV)
8. Day - app. 360 km to Tallinn (EST)
We will ride through the Latvian countryside. Estonia is the most advanced of the three Baltic Countires. Tallin is like a ferytale.
9. Day - Time to visit Tallin (EST)
10. Day - app. 280 km to Tartu, which is a beautiful totally restored university town. It's possible to make a detour and visit Narva (with fortress) on the Russian border.
11. Day - app. 400 km to Daugavpils, which is about the most Russian orientated place in the Baltic Countries.
12. Day - app. 380 km to Elk (PL)
Today we will leave the Baltic Countries behind us.
13. Day - app. 470 km to Poznan. The bigger national roads can be very busy. Sometimes the backroads are faster to ride, as long as the distance does not get too much.
14. Day - For us it is app. 800 km to go home from here, how about you?
